This seminar examines the neurobiological underpinnings of reinforced learning and motivation, with particular emphasis on learning and behavior mediated by dopamine systems and basal ganglia circuits. Students will read 1-2 primary journal and/or review articles each week and post questions and comments (2-3) for each article on weekly Discussion Forums on Blackboard.
