Building on the methods and design principles in 70410, this course willprovide a survey of quantitative tools in neuroscience research. Statisticalmethods will be reviewed with a focus on their appropriateness and rigor inthe context of common neuroscience designs, addressing questions ofpower, robustness and repeatability. A critical perspective will beemphasized, identifying current challenges and critiques of statisticalmethods in the neuroscience field. Students will learn R as a tool for analysisand data visualization.
