Department(s)
Description
The goal of this course is to introduce students to both the theoretical and practical aspects of nano and micro fabrication. The course is intended for students who plan to pursue experimental research in the fields of nanotechnology, solid state or condensed matter physics, photonics, materials science and / or electrical engineering. Students will master the most common micro and nano fabrication and characterization techniques that are used in both industrial production foundries as well as academic labs. After successfully completing this course, the students will be able to purse experimental research projects that utilize nanofabrication as a means of creating their devices and research samples
